Back to School
Well, I managed to get registered for classes over the internet today. Isn't technology wonderful? There were a few classes I wanted I was unable to obtain due to lack of pre-requisites (one of which I think I actually have) or classes being restricted to majors only, but I may be able to remedy that when I get home. Currently, I am signed up for:
History 239: History Of American Foreign Relations (3 c.h.)
Information Tech 168: Structured Problem Solving Using The Computer (4 c.h.)
Politics and Government 101: Citizens And Governance (3 c.h.)
Military Science 102: Introduction To Leadership:Teamwork (1 c.h.)
Health Sciences 176: Introduction To Motorcycle Safety (1 c.h.)
for a total of 12 c.h. which I think meets the cutoff for full-time. I may be able to fit another real class in there if I can get a waiver for a pre-req or some such. I may also stick in a weight training or other fitness class for another credit hour. I wanted to take microbiology as well, but it's at the same time as the history class, and I want to take a bit of a step away from science this next term and check out those other options. Trying to decide if I want to do second bachelor's, or grad school, or go straight to work. Possible actual jobs, molecular biology, epidemiology, or state dept. or intelligence agency work. So many options... time to start figuring!
That's it for today. TeddY2K out!

Hey, son.
Did the school assign a counselor to you or did you plow through on your own?
It's beginning to look like Christmas around here...3" of snow!
What do you want for Christmas? The best present for us will be your safe homecoming.
Take care!
oooooooooh, you're taking citizens and governence??? I hope you didn't get Dr. Pope, he's aweful. ANyway, I can't wait till you get here! We're definitely hitting up the bars!
shoot, that was from me, Matt. Take care man and stay safe!
motorcycle safety???
Teddy,
Are you going back to Knox? Looking forward to your return
Kyle
You can tell I have been out of touch for a couple days. A new posting and 5 comments before I even saw it. Looks like a great set of classes to expose you to something other than the types of things you have been studying. Good for you.
Peter Cozzens is a Knox graduate, an author of Civil War and Indian War books and works in the State Department. Maybe he would smooth the path for a Knox alumnus?
Be careful out there.
Sounds like heavy courses to me.
Stay alert, with the trial resuming.
4 below zero this AM.
Ocha
What! No calc class????? That's no schedule. Mr. P
Sean,
I believe I am having a microbiology book burning party about 7:30 pm Monday night, I'll think of you!!
Hey, Boo.
Book burning is something I'm usually against on general principles, but...may I add my Ed-Psych book to the pile?
